Sacraments
Baptism
In Baptism we receive new life in Christ. Baptism takes away original sin and gives us a new birth in the Holy Spirit. If you like to have your child baptized, please contact the parish.
First Reconciliation & Holy Communion
First reconciliation and holy communion is typically celebrated during the child's 2nd grade school year. If you have a child who is ready to prepare for these sacraments, please contact Andrea Clark at (402) 980-9007.
Confirmation
Confirmation seals our life of faith in Jesus. Its signs are the laying on of hands on a person’s head, most often by a bishop, and the anointing with oil.
Confirmation prep typically occurs in 9th grade and the Sacrament is received in 10th grade. If you have a child ready for confirmation prep, please contact Andrea Clark at (402) 980-9007.
Holy Matrimony
In Matrimony, a baptized man and woman are united with each other as a sign of the unity between Jesus and His Church. Matrimony requires the consent of the couple, as expressed in the marriage promises. The couple and their wedding rings are the signs of this sacrament.
At least six months prior to your wedding date, please contact the parish. If there is a prior marriage with no annulment, the process may take up to a year.
